You need to get the latest version 1255c to run on W8. rfactor.net/web/rf1/downloads/Note: If you own the DVD, it 'should' work on W8. The issue is not with Rfactor on W8, but the activation throught Trymedia. Also, for VHR standalone installs, you can just try the newly released rfactor.exe file available here files.imagespaceinc.com/1255c/

rfactor installed and running. yeeeaaaahhhhhh still have VHR to work on tomorrow night. going to bed.

I think all you have to do is copy the rfactor.exe file from the working installation into VHR and it should work.
